Two tracks run alongside each other. Paid work, which only recently started counting toward my degree as an internship, and 8 years of building things because I wanted to, which is where most of what I know actually came from.

Paid work

• Software Engineering InternWSO2

  From November 2026

  My first placement that counts as an internship under University of Moratuwa's degree requirements. Everything before this was freelance or startup work, which the university doesn't recognise as an internship.

• Associate Software Engineerasta

  From 2023

  Started as an intern, then moved to a full associate role. Worked mostly on the front-end.

• Web and browser extension developmentFreelancer.com and Upwork

  From 2021

  Took on client projects across both platforms, plus a few outside of them directly.
